Every day SPS students are offered a nutritionally balanced breakfast and lunch!

Online B.F. Day breakfast and lunch menuPaying for Student Meals
School lunch and breakfast are available for purchase. Breakfast is $2.25 and lunch is $3.80. There are also opportunities to qualify for free or reduced lunch. Please visit the district Culinary Services for more information about school meals. Culinary Services offers a variety of convenient ways to pay for school meals including online payment and paying with check or cash. Visit the district Culinary Services page for more information.
Free and Reduced Priced Lunch applications can be completed now on the district Culinary Services page. Paper copies are also available in our B.F. Day Elementary School office.
Free Meals for Students
Breakfast and lunch will be served at no cost to those students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Additionally, Seattle Public Schools has several schools that will offer free meals for all students.
Families must complete the free meal application every school year and will be responsible for the cost of meals provided to a student prior to the establishment of free or reduced-price eligibility. Please refer to the district Culinary Services for more information.

Free Meals for Students
Your child may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. In all Seattle schools, students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals receive meals at no cost.
You must reapply every year. Qualification is based on household income.
Students who qualify receive additional benefits including reduced fees for the following programs.

- Field Trips
- Advanced Placement Tests
- Running Start Books
- Associated Student Body (ASB) Fees
- Pre-College Exams (PSAT/SAT/ACT)
- College Application Fees
