I am pleased to announce that Kristen Eckert has been selected as the permanent principal of B.F. Day Elementary!

Ms. Eckert has served as the interim principal for the past year.

Principal Eckert was selected through a formal interview process that included participation from staff, parents, and community members. During the process, the B.F. Day team was particularly impressed by her commitment to working collaboratively with staff to ensure that all students receive high-quality instruction. They also highlighted her dedication to continuing to learn and grow in her role, and her strong desire to continue serving the B.F. Day community as your principal.
