Our spirit day theme for October’s assembly is “Dress Your Best” Day on October 30! This is your chance to dress up and look sharp. We invite students to wear their favorite formal or special-occasion attire and bring their finest swagger.

Think of it as a special occasion: wear your finest clothes, like a fancy dress, a nice button-down shirt, a vest, a blazer, or even a sparkling jacket! Don’t worry if you don’t have a new outfit—you can also show your spirit by wearing your nicest jeans with a bright shirt or adding a special accessory like a clean baseball cap, a colorful scarf, or even just your shiniest shoes!

You can accessorize with bowties, sparkly headbands, fun jewelry, or anything that makes you feel fancy. The goal is to dress to the nines!

We’ll be awarding prizes for both Best Dressed and Most Participation to classes in both the K-2 and 3-5 grade bands, so let’s see your school spirit shine!

B.F. Day’s Tradition of Inclusion: Thank you for honoring our tradition of keeping costumes at home as Halloween approaches. We want all of our students to attend school and have maintained a tradition of having inclusive events and activities. Each month we have an all school assembly, and that day is also partnered with a spirit day. Last month was school colors and gear day. This month it’s Fancy Dress. You are appreciated for all you do to support all of our students!
