- We accept most insurance, but are unable to accept Cigna, Tricare, and some out-of-state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.
- Each patient needs their own appointment, in the patient’s name, with their individual information.
- A family of four will need four appointments.
- If you cannot register all family members in the same appointment window, register the remaining members in the closest available time window. You may still visit the clinic together at one time.
- Cash rates for the 2026 season are $200 per Covid vaccine and $60 per flu vaccine. (* note from nurse: if your insurance does not accept it is best to go to pharmacy or doctor’s office that accepts your insurance).
- We are providing the updated 2026-27 Moderna Covid vaccine and Flucelvax trivalent preservative-free flu vaccines.
2026 Vaccine Clinic FAQ
Vaccine Clinic FAQ: Seattle Visiting Nurse Association
- Which health insurance plans do you accept? We are in-network with most health insurance plans except Cigna, TRICARE, First Choice, and certain out-of-state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. If you have in-network health insurance, you must provide that information during registration. We will bill your insurance plan for your immunization following the clinic and you will not incur any out-of-pocket fees. If you have questions about insurance, we encourage you to email us at info@seattlevna.com prior to registering for your appointment.
- What if I don’t have insurance? If you do not have in-network health insurance, or are uninsured, you will select “no insurance/out-of-pocket” during registration. You will be asked to pay up front unless your school or employer has agreed to cover the cost of your immunization(s). Out-of-network patients are encouraged to receive their vaccinations from an in-network provider to avoid any fees.
- Are there any age restrictions? Seattle VNA is licensed to provide flu immunizations to all individuals ages 4 years and older and COVID vaccines to all individuals ages 5 years and older. Age 5-11 COVID vaccines are available at large-scale school clinics only, unless agreed upon with the SVNA team.
- How do I make an appointment? You will be sent a unique registration link from your school or employer where you may schedule an appointment at your specific clinic. Appointments are available for scheduling in 15-minute increments during clinic hours. All patients will receive a confirmation email and reminder text message for their appointment.
- What happens if I miss my appointment? Can I cancel or reschedule? If you cannot make your appointment, or miss your appointment, please cancel or reschedule via the confirmation email sent at the time of registration.
- Can I bring family members or other people with me for my appointment? Please inquire with your school or employer if family members are permitted to attend your vaccine clinic. If family members are permitted, please note that all patients receiving an immunization must meet eligibility requirements and will require their own separate registration in their name, with their information.
- What do I need to have with me for my appointment? For expedited service, please bring your unique confirmation code (included in your confirmation email), insurance card, and ID to your appointment. Please wear short-sleeved clothing (privacy screens not included).
- Which vaccines do you provide? We will provide the Flucelvax Trivalent Preservative-Free flu vaccine at our Fall 2026 clinics. We do not provide Flumist Nasal Spray flu vaccine or Fluzone High-Dose flu vaccine. For Covid, we will be providing the updated 2026-2027 Moderna vaccine.
- Can you provide verification of the vaccination given? For official proof of your flu vaccination, please email us at info@seattlevna.com and we will send you a Certificate of Immunization. For official proof of your COVID vaccine, please visit waverify.doh.wa.gov.
