Preschool – First Grade Parents Parent Education Night!

Special event for parents of students in preschool – first grade! Join us in the library on December 8 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Meet other B.F. Day early childhood parents, share some snacks, and let’s learn! We’re hosting a parent education night focused on how to have intentional play time with your children. Below is a brief description:

30 minutes of child-led play once a week can strengthen the bond between parents and children, and make a huge difference in your child’s attitude, leading to increased self- esteem, self-control, and self-discipline.

Lindsay Simon is a licensed marriage and family therapist who specializes in Play Therapy, and will be teaching how to facilitate an intentional, weekly playtime with your child. The session will include lecture and activities to solidify the skills parents need for special playtime.
