    The votes are in for the 2019 Washington Children’s Choice Picture Book Award and BF Day students have chosen ...

    The winning title received 76 votes out of 200 total votes cast by our K-3 students. Runners-up included: Sergeant Reckless: The True Story of the Little Horse Who Became A Hero, by Patricia McCormick (24 votes) and You Don't Want A Unicorn! by Ame Dyckman (21 votes). 

    Ask your child which one they voted for 😉! Statewide, the 2019 winner of the WCCPBA is The Legend of Rock Paper Scissors, by Drew Daywalt and Adam Rex! 18,144 children voted for this title. 134,336 children in the state of Washington participated in this year's voting!

    Final BF Day vote tallies for Sasquatch, OTTER and Towner award voting will be announced next week.

    Summer Reading at Seattle Public Library

    On Thursday, June 13 Christiane Woten, our local Seattle Public Librarian will be visiting to share great summer reads along w/some highlights of SPL’s Summer of Learning program: Explore Your World!
